Another new guy! Been sittin' on him for awhile and just recently got the energy to finally draw him a reference. This boyo is the adopted son of Maud and Trixie, around the same age as Cream Cheese.

Bio: Starburst is the adopted son of Maud and Trixie. Starburst is a little more down to earth then Trixie, but shares her love of bright colorful performances. Like his mother and uncle, Starburst travels quite often to do his famous firework shows. He's always happy to come back and stay with his family on the rock farm though; it's a pretty perfect location to test out new fireworks and rockets (the others have mostly gotten used to the noise). Starburst is cheerful and intelligent, and very close to all of the Pies on the rock farm. He has a sort of on and off romantic relationship with Apple Buck as well; they meet up whenever their travelling schedules cause them to overlap and are sort staggering drunkenly in the direction of a committed relationship.


Relationship with his parents: Starburst is actually biologically related to Trixie! He was the son of a distant cousin of her's, a performer unicorn who travelled around with his wife, a donkey. They both died suddenly in accident and it turns out Trixie was the closest related relative who was not a complete disaster and who social services would trust with a traumatized 8 year old. Maud and Trixie had just gotten married a year earlier and while they had not planned on having kids so soon, they knew they had to be there to support the kid. While he gets his performer's streak from Trixie's side of the family, he gets along a little better with Maud and the two often help each other with their various rock or firework related experiments.

Relationship with Cream Cheese: He and Cream Cheese were very close as kids and continue to be fairly close. Often times Cream Cheese will bring Starburst to give one of his fireworks performances at their various parties, but will usually just use it as an excuse to hang out with him when they're feeling lonely. And also because Starburst's firework performances are AWESOME, but Cream Cheese is very bad at making friends and tends to cling their brother and cousin. Starburst doesn't mind too much (he does get paid after all and Cream Cheese is his buddy) but will get revenge by forcing Cream Cheese to go out and meet ponies at places that aren't just wild extravagant parties.
