Personality: Very sociable! He doesn't get many visitors in the mountains, and given the opportunity becomes quite the chatterbox. A bit desperate for acceptance, he's also known to overextend himself running errands and favors for others.
History: Sledder was born to loving, caring earthpony parents. They were his only immediate family, but his collection of cousins, aunts, uncles made up a clan that could rival the Apples. Most of them were large clydesdale breeds, but Sledder set a new standard! Even as a young colt, he was easily twice the size of his cousins the same age. His aunts and uncles worried he'd play too rough with the others, and his constant growth was concerning even to his parents. By the time he'd reached his teens, his size could no longer be blamed on "growth spurts-" he no longer fit in school chairs, and he always slouched to avoid hitting doorframes.
Though they were an incredibly family oriented herd, his parents had to make the hard call to move, and give him the room he needed to flourish. Hoping there was some merit to Winter's Cradle town nickname- Giant's Cradle- they took the plunge into a wildly foreign landscape. Sledder indeed flourished- his thick coat served him well in the snow and his size was only of benefit hauling snow, firewood and supplies.
