Pharyx — the Changeling we need.

Another old piece. This one a Made back in relation to the episode 'to change a changeling', where Pharynx debued.

I thought Pharynx represented Changelings that refused to undergo the metamorphosis, yet still chose to be good.
I thought that would be a much needed representation for people with Old school changelings OC's. And fit nicely into some theme of inclusivity, in that he would not need to metamorph to be a part of the New hive. He did after all represent a much needed edge that he felt that his people had lost when they became, as some might put it "a Bunch of sissies."

which is why i was very unsure of how to feel when he still metamorphosed at the end of the episode.I felt it was a little too Disney-esque — Good-equals-pretty — Trope. And that It went against what I just described.

Whish was why i re-imagined him a little. Still after his 'prince' metamorphosis but still retaining a few old changeling looks like fangs and edges. I also gave him a leather vest and a mohawk to ad a little to his 'Bad Boy' Look.


I'm also not sure if i should have added my 'emo heart down in the corner. Did that take away from the overall image?
