This is actually an update to an earlier recording of this motion/song…that one used one of my older models and doesn't have the same scene/effects edits that make this one a bit nicer overall.
I'm no fan of LoL or most modern/Tencent-era gaming-adjacent products, but even so I can't deny how good a lot of this K/DA stuff (and by extension the K-pop wave) really is. The amount of money that goes into it all is…"dizzying" isn't quite the word, more like "terrifying"…but man does it look/sound nice. LadieAlien really did a good job translating the energy into their VMD camera/motion; go check out their original upload below, and consider supporting their Patreon to access a good chunk of their files yourself!
I really like the way this song and camera sort of work well with this simplistic "void dance" scene. It allows me to push a bit more on effects/physics without too much loss in performance, while still looking super cool (a shame multiple models are too taxing in VaM though). I also loved how the outfit turned out…really gives a great "action/boss girl" vibe while still matching the song, and also having enough accentuation to still be Rarity. It kind of reminds me of how she looks in pia-sama's "Rogue Diamond" comics, but only slightly and entirely by coincidence.
My next goal will be to assemble a dance with an outfit not straight out of White House Black Market (lol), though I suspect that'll be a tall order given how that shit looks SO Rarity. If I had a GF right now I could only hope I'd be shopping for her there.
