I was curious whether the mass downvoting of specific tags was being performed by a script or by a human, so I conducted an experiment wherein I removed the trigger-tags from a few specific images, and added the trigger-tags to a few others. This image was one of the ones where I removed a trigger-tag as a part of the experiment to see if it would still be subject to tag-based downvotes. It was actually a very productive experiment, as I discovered, to my surprise, that there is indeed a human, and it isn’t simply based on a watchlist.

The "furry" tag, by the tag's own description, applies to non-mlp anthropomorphized characters. It does not apply to mlp characters, and we already have a tag for anthropomorphism generally; it's "anthro."
