> He died 7 years after attempting to take his own life brought on by the intense bullying he suffered in school for being a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. His suicide attempt was unsuccessful but left him in a vegetative state for the rest of his life.

> For some of our long-time fans, you may remember Michael and the outpouring of community support for him after the incident, helping with a GoFundMe for him and even Andrea Libman herself paying him a visit as Pinkie Pie was his favorite pony.

> His family will be holding a memorial within the next couple of weeks to celebrate his life. They have made it known that anyone who is willing/able to attend will be welcome.
