Sweet Sundae is one of the kindest kids in Ponyville and really tries hard to get people to like her.
This friendliness and eagerness makes her act a little naive and she doesn't always pick up on people's emotions.
In her mind, there is no such thing as a bad person. She thinks the world is a lovely place, that anyone can find happiness and that no one really has bad or dark intentions.
She lost her mother Lyra when she was 7 and still thinks about her a lot but she's happy that her mom Bon Bon seems to have moved on. She has no idea who her mother is seeing but she's patient and excited to accept this pony into their small family.

Sweetie has a close group of friends who are fiercely protective of her. Those friends being Aurora Toile, Darcy Spice and Gemini however Sundae is always excited to make more friends outside of her core group. Case in point, a young mare in her grade recently took interest in being friends and of course Sweetie accepted her with open arms. That mare is Tuff Puff, the school bully and druggie. Sweetie is afraid of any illicit drugs so she thinks that her friendship might also help Puff quit. However she believes all conflicts can be fixed with compassion.

Overall, so many people really benefits from such a loving creature like Sweetie Sundae in their lives. She's a dedicated friend and will do anything for anyone in need.
