Description:

Some doodles of my girls because I've been drawing a lot of them

Scrapjack is quite the talker. She can go on for hours about seemingly nothing, just throwing words into the abyss (also known as her good pal Rotgut) and not expecting any of them to bounce back. Rotgut doesn't usually respond, and Jack doesn't usually expect her to. Her out-loud thinking has become akin to white noise for the yakicorn, and to be honest, it's kinda comforting… in a weird, raspy, ear-grating way. Maybe Jack's voice isn't objectively very nice, but Rotgut can't remember a time when it wasn't with her. The constant rambling is as much a part of their friendship as Scrapjack herself. Rotgut, however, is more of the strong, silent type. This is partially because she has a very thick Russian accent that only serves to compound her rough, intimidating exterior. She's already not the most approachable creature, and having a voice deeper and more terrifying than the sea doesn't exactly help. Not that Rotgut minds the fear factor, in fact it makes her job as Scrapjack's protector much easier.

I originally wanted to make these two more peaceful troublemakers, but… nah, they're doin crimes. They both have a kill count higher than Canterlot Castle and a bounty on their heads that's even higher. With Rotgut's magic and Jack's proficiency in explosive pyrotechnics, they make a nearly unstoppable team. Scrapjack has blown herself up more times than she can count, and seeing her with smoke billowing off her feathers isn't uncommon.

Scrapjack and Rotgut are actually legally married, following a night of drinking and half-joking suggestions that were maybe taken too far. (To be fair, it was funny) Are they dating? Have they ever dated? Are they in love? Nobody knows. No one has ever seen them kiss or hold hoof-and-claw or celebrate an anniversary, but they are pretty affectionate with each other. Last time someone asked if she and Rotgut were a couple, Jack answered with a puzzled "What gave ya that idea?" and went back to cuddling with her big ol yak bud. Maybe they are just gals being pals. Eh, none of our business.

Jack has mastered puppy eyes, and Rotgut has mastered ignoring them.

Again, they're affectionate! Regardless of whether or not their relationship is romantic, they love each other to bits. Scrapjack teases Rotgut endlessly about how much of a cuddlebug she is outside of battle, but she wouldn't trade it for the world. Yak hugs are things of wonder.
