He had the idea that this set of artwork should be some of the fusions and tommy reuniting with RT after her absence. I then had to come up with a reasonable reason RT would realistically leave her family and friends behind for so long that would both match her character and parallel me without bringing human RT into the pony world. So this is what I came up with, hopefully he likes the explanation and the artwork. Gotta shake the rust off ;)

This reunion had been a long time coming. Not a day went by where Tommy didn't miss his beloved sister and yearned for the hours spent playing together having fun while his parents were away on royal duties, but his desire to see his rainbow coloured friend once more was only matched by RT herself as alongside the pictures by her bedside of her husband Spicy Cider and their beautiful children, was a photograph of little Tommy here, as much family to the skittle mare as her foals in her eyes. The two surely have so much to catch up on, Galaxia already let it slip that he had made leaps and bounds in terms of his magical prowess, but managed to silence herself with Speedy's help so Tommy himself could fill RT in himself. She may not have magic herself, but she will hang on to his every word all the same, maybe even volunteer to be a test subject of his transfiguration spells just this once.

As hard as it was for RT to be away from her family, it was necessary for her to better herself as a pony and as a mother, having post natal struggles and many thoughts of self doubt no matter how much Spicy and the fusion families reassured her. The mare had been on a farming trip exclusive to new mothers and fathers who needed some time to themselves once again to not lose sight of who they were before they became parents as well as receive help and useful techniques in order to be the best mum and dads possible. The most valuable lessons learned was it is ok to mess up, that there is no right or wrong way to raise a family as long as there is unconditional love and that parenthood is a learning process and that these fears and worries are completely normal, and she was not some crazy pony, and that parents or not she and Spicy both need to take care of themselves as well as to best care for these little ones and give them the best possible life they can. It was good for RT in other ways as the farming was great exercise, and gave her much more confidence about being able to step in for Spicy when he wants some alone time with his babas without her feeling like a deadweight, the knowledge she accrued could even rival Spicy's now, and i'm sure that will lead to many a discussion and fun competition on who can nurture the best produce.

It is so good to have [RainbowTashie](/profiles/RainbowTashie) back. Many I know here and those that followed her missed her loveable character and her adorable artwork. Things have been crazy for the past year but luckily it seems that in the end there is some good to enjoy. Just so happens a loving warm huggy from such a sweet and kind mare. May I officially welcome her back!
