Since Flurry was born she had powerful surges of magic and as she got older they became more dangerous, even life threatening. After her parents divorce when she was eleven , her emotions where erratic and all over the place leading her to have power surges more and more often. A particularly powerful one ended up cracking and breaking her horn off. She lost her heir to the throne, and was overcome by bitterness. She lost what felt like both her parents, and her future as she knew it. She became sullen and depressed barely letting anyone see her and she lived in her room. At thirteen Cadence asked Tempest to mentor her daughter. Tempest trained viscously with Flurry and introduced her into the guard where her fire was ignited and she became stoic and aggressive. She loves the cold blizzard and the thrill of the fight and feels best on a battle field.
