> So here we have the first episode of Friendship Is Magic.
> And to be honest to you guys, I actually like the episode.
> Okay, what’s the episode is about?
> We are introduce to a backstory of two alicorn princess, which one of the princesses was turned to a villain name Nightmare Moon due to her sister getting all of glory. She was defeated to these sources called the Elements of Harmony and was sent to the moon for a thousand of years. Then, we then introduce to our main character, or one of our main characters (but she’s the main focus of the show) name Twilight Sparkle (voiced by Tara Strong), a unicorn who is an introvert pony who doesn’t have any friends and spends most of time reading books. Spike, a baby dragon (voiced by Cathy Weseluck) who is Twilight’s number one assistant, helps Twilight a book that tells more story about the Elements of Harmony. Twilight then tells Spike to write a letter to her teacher, Princess Celestia (voiced by Nicole Lyn Oliver) about Nightmare Moon returning from the moon. Celestia tells Twilight that it’s just a old pony’s tale and that she needs to go a different location to make friends called Ponyville. But Twilight doesn’t want to make friends and just to get her assignments done and go back to Canterlot. Among the way we then introduce to our other main characters in the show name Applejack, an Earth Pony (voiced by Ashleigh Ball) who’s a cowgirl, Rainbow Dash, a Pegasus Pony (also voice by Ashleigh Ball) who’s a tomboy, Pinkie Pie, another Earth Pony (voiced by Andrea Libman) who’s a party pony, Fluttershy, another Pegasus Pony (also voiced by Andrea Libman) who also a introvert like Twilight’ but has friends and Rarity, another Unicorn (voiced by Tabitha St. Germain) who does make dresses for her friends. But then suddenly at the night, Nightmare has returned and now Twilight needs to find the Elements of Harmony and stop Nightmare Moon.

> It’s a pretty good set-up for the first episode of the show and they introduce the characters pretty good. But what I really like about this episode is Twilight Sparkle. I like that she doesn’t want to make new friends and just want to get her assignment done. I relate Twilight the most in the episode, I’m also an introvert and I really don’t like making new friends a lot.
> I wish they could of made a lot of jokes in this episode, but what we have, it’s fine. I did feel a little annoyed a little bit when watching it, but again, what I really like about this episode is Twilight herself, not wanted to be in Ponyville. I like Spike in this episode, he’s does some laughs. I wish they make the rest of the characters a little more interesting but we have, it’s fine. I also like that they didn’t went too girly. I mean yeah they were at one point but they don’t last long. Also, Friendship is Magic PT1 and PT2 is actually the only episodes written by the one and only Lauren Faust. That’s pretty interesting.

> Overall, I like this episode, not one of my favorite, but I’ll still be watching this episode anytime soon. I could talk about Pt 2, but I really don’t have that much time. But this episode is a good start of this show.
