After her wonderful tail sank into the mud of the sea floor, she had pull herself together not to scream in her usual ladylike manner. As she bent down to dig up her tail again, she noticed that her beautiful white skin hadturned dark and both she and her womanly features had begun to shrink. As her arms were swept away by the vortex, wrapped around her body and bagan to merge with it, she stretched as far as she could and let out a scream that sounded like that of another creature.
