Lorca is a handicapped filly who due to a carriage/chariot crash accident is unable to use her back legs ever again and her family had to move from Cloudsdale to Ponyville for her. Alone at the park she looks into the lake at her reflection feeling sad wondering how she can become successful, she then see's Thunder Chaser's reflection in the water and turns around to see him. He spends time with her at the park and gives her the best encouraging advice he can give her, helping her feel better about herself and become more positive, assuring her that she can be successful and just needs to believe in herself just like he believes in her. His caring words of encouragement touch her making her tear up and hug him, he hugs her back and continues to have a nice day with her at the park before taking her back home.
