Izzy Moonbow couldn't help but blush as she sat alone in the room. Zephyr Heights had many luxuries to appreciate that one simply wouldn't find in her hometown of Bridlewood. From high quality flat screens to gourmet restraunts. Out of all the things Zephyr Heights could offer a pony, the one thing Izzy hadn't anticipated would become a luxury she so lavishly crave… was disposable adult diapers.
The way it hugged her haunches… the soft padding like a comforting embrace. The way it took some of the chill out of the night air high up in the mountains… the delicate and gentle scent of foal powder that she could only describe as fresh and clean. Yes, maybe it was silly for a perfectly healthy, twenty-two year old mare to want to wear a diaper… but there was just something so right. Something so pure about this. Each little crinkle of the material that came with even a small movement reminded her it was there.
She sat simply basking in the simple comfort of the soft garment. She had placed the tennis ball that the pegasi had once placed upon her horn back upon it. It felt good in a way. It reminded her of her very first visit to Zephyr Heights… only now, the tennis ball also bore four signatures. The autographs of her most precious friends. She would treasure that ball forever.
She was suddenly torn from her quiet enjoyment as the door to the room opened. She quickly scrambled to cover herself with her tail in hopes of hiding the diaper she wore… Her friends! What would they think? She struggled to find her words… and it seemed they did too…
"W-whoa…" Zipp Storm was the first to speak up. "My bad Izzy…" she said scratching the back of her head with a hoof. "Didn't mean to interrupt anything personal…" she said carefully. She could see the terror and embarrassment in the unicorn's eyes.
"I-Izzy?!" Sunny Starscout squeaked in surprise.
"Oh… my… gosh! That is SO cute!" Pipp Petals said with a squee. "[Hashtag FoalOutFridays~♫](https://derpibooru.org/images/2728236)"
Hitch Trailblazer just cracked a smile. He mimed talking into a radio. "This is Sherif Hitch… I'd like to report a code: Q.T. Pi. I repeat. Being that adorable's gotta be crime!"
Izzy's fear melted away, but it did little to assuage her embarrassment. Only now, on top of being at a loss for words and blushing like a beet, she also had a big smile plastered on her muzzle that made her cheeks ache. "A-aww… y-you guys… y-you're not… weirded out?"
"It's a little strange…" Sunny admitted. "But… I think we're all a little strange in our own ways."
"Eh. Nothing I haven't seen Pipp do. Whatever makes you happy is cool with me." Zipp said dismissively.
"Eee! Are those the new Luvbugs? They're even cuter in person!" Pipp cheered.
Zipp cringed a little at the cheesy name. "Hearts and Hooves Day thing I'm guessing based on the print."
"M-Mmhm." Izzy confirmed sheepishly. They were indeed a Hearts and Hooves Day limited run print.
"I'm not gonna pretend I understand it. But they do look cute on you." Hitch said simply. "If I can put up with Sunny being a menace around town with spray paint and roller blades, I think a pony who's idea of a good way to relax is lounging around in a diaper is a cake walk."
"Hey, I'm not a menace!" Sunny pouted.
"Anymore." Hitch teased. "…Good message, but I could only be asked to scrub your little art projects off walls so many times before it got old."
"I love you guys!" Izzy exclaimed, tearing up, overcome with joy. All her life she'd been the odd one out. The outcast… now? She had four great friends… and they still loved and appreciated her, even if she was kinda strange! To be accepted as is… that was the best thing she ever could've wished for.
