> Kalmin was born in the Capital City to a family of jewelers. As a cub they befriended Tigertail and his brother Whitetail. They were very close friends for most of their childhood and teenage years. At 14 Kalmin stopped using male terms and wanted to be non-binary. Tigertail and Whitetail were fine with it but their parents were not. Keeping them apart whenever they could until after Tigertail and Whitetail graduated high school and invited Kalmin to be their roommate. Kalmin decided to stay in the family business of jewelry. When Tigertail started dating Silverstorm, Kalmin met Silver. Who was looking to expand her store and with Kalmin could add a jewelry department. After finding out they were both single, Silver and Kalmin agreed to try a date. It was okay until Silver's other roommate came out her room. The other roommate being TK. Unlike with Silver it just clicked and Kalmin couldn't get her off their mind and ended up hanging out a lot. Both Kalmin and Silver agreed there wasn't anything more than a friendship between them, and quickly became best friends. Kalmin didn't want to make things awkward with Silver due to their crush on TK. So Kalmin admitted their feelings in secret. When they were returned the two still kept it a secret from her. Tigertail had guessed and told Whitetail(who was glad to have another chance with Silver). Keeping it from TK's two roommates for a while before being caught by Silver. No awkwardness, she was overjoyed but annoyed she was the last single. With the Silver problem out the way Kalmin and TK's relationship got better.
