It was spring of 2014, the weather was warming up and flowers were starting to bloom after a cold harsh winter , Sweetheart was up and lively as early as 6 AM, she knew she had a long day ahead of her as she headed downstairs

the smell of pancakes lingered throughout the kitchen as sweetheart yawned and sat the dinner table

"Good morning sweetie, sleep ok?" her mother asked with a smile on her face

sweetheart smiled and nodded still half asleep then her sister clementine came down and sat next to her

"are you ready?" she asked her older sister,

sweetheart smirked "for what?" she played dumb, clementine bumped her with her hoof

"you know what I'm talking about!" she teased as the two laughed

"I'm as ready as I'll ever be" she replied as a huge plate of pancakes clashed on the table

"You're gonna need some energy before you start, dig in girls"

their mother Velvet rose replied as the girls took some pancakes and added them to their plates, the room was silent, the only sound that could be heard was the clock ticking on the wall and the birds chirping outside

"Are you alright dear?" Velvet asked her eldest "Oh! yeah I'm fine ma, I guess I'm just a little nervous is all" sweetheart spoke in a nervous tone

"But aren't you excited?" clementine asked

"Of course! its just…gonna be a bit nerve wracking is all" sweetheart groaned softly

"You'll be just fine sweetie, its normal to be nervous" their mother replied

"it is?" sweetheart asked as her mother nodded her head "when I first moved out I was very nervous, nervous about the unknown, nervous about my future, but now when I think of it, everything turned out perfectly"

she spoke in a gentle tone, sweetheart smiled , she felt less nervous about the move and she knew she was gonna be ok because she had her friends by her side

after breakfast sweetheart went to the bathroom and stared into the mirror, she took a deep breath then exhaled

"Everything is gonna be okay…I just know it" she smiled and made her way downstairs

, she packed her things up into the wagon and hugged her mother and sister goodbye

"Thanks for everything mom" sweetheart teared up

"you'll be just fine sweetie" she replied and smiled "I'm so proud of you" velvet replied once again

then moments later clementine smothered her sister and teared up

"you better promise you'll come visit!" she sobbed, sweetheart laughed and hugged her "

I Promise I will clemmy"

after saying their goodbye's sweetheart lead big mac to her new cottage, he pulled the heavy wagon

windy was awaiting their arrival, once they got there, sweetheart gave him 50 bits for all his hard work

the girls then loaded everything off the back and the two started bringing the moving boxes inside the cottage, there were a few left outside but nothing sweetheart couldn't handle

"Well I think we got them all!" sweetheart replied as windy flew above her

"are you sure you'll be ok unpacking all of this on your own?" windy replied nervously

"Yep! don't worry, besides I still gotta clean out the cottage and then organize everything, it'll be easy peasy!" sweetheart said excitedly

organizing was her favorite thing to do , after saying goodbye to windy sweetheart opened up the cottage door as her eyes widened, it was filled with cobwebs and spiders, dust bunnies and all

"Oh dear…its worse than I thought.." she said to herself as she heard a little chirp

she looked up and there was a little birds nest up on the foundation of the house

"Oh! seems I'm not the only one who calls this place my home, time to go birdies!"

she gently carried the nest out with her magic and set the nest safely in her willow tree that sat by the pond not far from her, she had private property so she was surrounded by trees and wildlife

she smiled up at the nest and headed back inside to clean

"Lets do this!" she spoke with confidence

She started with the living room then the kitchen, then the bathroom and finally her bedroom, she started cleaning at 8 and got done by 5 PM , and by the time she was done the cottage shined

it was beautiful and the sun had shone ever so brightly in the living room, she then plopped on the couch ,

she was tired out but there was only one problem….she still had to go get food, so she made her way into ponyville and did some grocery shopping
