> 2021 Summary of Art
> Dang it's already been another year! It feels like barely any time has passed at all. This year tried to to pick pieces that meant something to me.
> January: A drawing of my bab Kichaka, it was shortly after I started a new shading style and was my first attempt at a background with it.
> February: My two lovely lioden rulers of the Mabiyoya Pride. Hard to believe I've almost gone through two more reigns after them.
> March: My first northling! She is completely common but I live her anyway and this was my first attempt at lineless in my new shading style
> April: Kalmin's new ref sheet, it took a little while to make but I still use it and don't plan on redrawing it for a while
> May: My first one of two assignments I did for the art pride before I left. While I enjoyed the two drawings I did and the prompts were fun, I did not enjoy the art pride.
> June: Keith! I don't typically draw humans but I enjoy drawing Keith from Voltron
> July: Just wanted to go for something quick and simple but really develop Stellar Storm and this one fit great!
> August: Siblings, before I used them in the EclipsedGuardian AU they were planned to be used for a separate project the __verse. It didn't really work so I decided to use them in the EGAU. Rainstorm is still one of my favorite characters and I'm currently working on a book for him.
> September: I got SAI! At least for a little while. It was fun while it lasted but hopefully/maybe Christmas? I wanted Terryn Storm to be very familiar to TK and it was debated for a while if I would change my ponysona when the movie came out. While I feel Terryn is a bit more accurate to the me than TK(from 2018) is, I don't plan I changing her or Silverstorm as my account mascots (may be adding another soon!) I feel even though I've changed and the characters appearances haven't I'm carrying a part of who I used to be.
> October: One of my last drawings on SAI, it was my first TLK edit redrawn and I got to see just how much I improved.
> November: A bit of an unproductive month but I remember I really enjoyed just making that goofy sketchy comic. I felt like a pushed my limit with human body shapes and got to work with my first original project babs again.
> December: I planned to use a commission for this but I decided to use the piece I made yesterday of Aldwyn. I didn't expect to even make that let alone get past the sketching phase but I feel like it was the most important piece I did all year.
> Well that's my summary of art this year and you can be sure I'm gonna do one next year too! Want to do one? Check out the template I used:
