Redeye's army had the advantage of making their own guns and ammo, unfortunately buying every slave they could get their hooves on left the budget rather thin. The pipe guns were made to be cheep, easy to repair, and just as easy to make, but not to be all that good. Thus Redeye had a masives stockpile of disposable guns, in which allowed his army to fend off any rivals to his power.

After the fall of the Redeye Army, the guns found by the NCR would be destroyed, but unfortunaly most would be smuggled out, and fall into the hooves of raiders and bandits.
