Hatched in the year 985 ALB to a pair of middle class tunnel inspectors beneath Blossumport, little of interest is recorded due to the rampant illiteracy present in pre-industrialized Greneclyf.
What is known is that around 999 ALB both of her parents were killed following a mine collapse and the young nymph was placed under the care of a friend of the family in the nearby merchants district, during this time she encountered an unnamed Skald while he sang tales of the wild Riverlands. This mixed with the recent drastic changes would drive the young nymph away from her family lines expected path.
By 1000 ALB she would adopt the name Chittering Compass and with it a softer, more pony-like appearance to help her fit in with the Outland traders.
In 1004 she would go on to cross the sea by ship and apprentice under a tracker in Farbrooke, earning valuable experience in the arts of wilderness survival, tracking, mapping, and cartography.
By 1007 she would return to Greneclyf with passing knowledge of Bakara, Farbrooke, and a rough idea of the remaining Riverlands, knowledge she more than willingly shares with the rest of her kin.
