> Silver Fire-Star wasn't going to be his name. Sulphur wanted his name to be more unique, but Inkwell didn't want his child to have a ''rock'' name. So the only name they did agree on is Silver Fire-Star. Honestly, Silver wished that he did have a different name. I mean you have no idea how many ponies are named Firestar or Starfire. Sulphur doesn't understand why Inkwell cared so much about Silvers name, he doesn't see Silver often anyway.

Because of this, Silver lives with his mother and rarely ever sees Inkwell.

He wanted to be a performer, but he ended up becoming, something that's not him.
