Scootaloo whirled on her hero, tears streaming down her eyes. "Is that it? You understand, Rainbow Dash?" She couldn't help it, couldn't stop it. It wasn't fair. It just wasn't fair. Rainbow had everything ponies who admired her, an amazing flying ability… parents. Scootaloo… she had nothing. And she'd just wanted, in one way, just one way, to be like her hero.

And now this.

"You DON'T understand!" The little pegasus shouted. "You'll never understand! You can fly!"


Part of me really wants to see Scootaloo fly. Part of me really wants her to remain flightless, and show how she copes with that. But, with all of the other sad headcanons I've seen- from her being a homeless orphan to just being called a chicken all the time- I feel like that might just be a little too cruel to my fav CMC. Sweating a little…
