> Freshly Baked
> She/Her
> A very particular lady who takes her pastries very seriously. She might look like a scrawny sweet baker, but if one notices, she's hardly seen smiling unless she feels some kind of triumph. Something like putting the last sprinkle in place on a donut, or getting a much deserved 5 star review in the local newspaper. Those things make her smile…but otherwise, she's frowning constantly because she has to do EVERYTHING herself. Her father simply doesn't understand that no, putting the cakepops lined up at a 90 degree angle is stupid when they would look more appealing as a *cake-kepop. She's always been very "mine mine no touchy you cant do it right" with pretty much everything in her life ever. As reluctant Joe is to admit it, she does do a lot of things better than him. And…everyone. But should anyone ever say that her way of doing things is wrong… a violent competitive fire is stoked, and she'll go from frowning to laughing because she is about to ruin you and your reputation for being so foolish as to step on her turf.

> Burnt Toast
> He/Him
> Burnt Toast has always been pretty passive as the little brother and kinda just done what Fresh has said, although to no avail. He can get her the ingredients or the tools needed, but he himself could never actually be a part of her cooking process because she didn't trust him to do it right. He's never had such prominent conviction like she does, so he just accepts that he's not as great of a baker or…much of anything, really. Freshly Baked would legitimately cry and get uncharacteristically worked up if Donut Joe even implied that something Burnt did was better than her, so he struggled to appease her and also let Burnt know that he wasn't lesser…alas, it never stuck. He just fell out of baking, especially because he didn't like to be seen. In unicorn standards, he is honestly quite ugly. His grainy earth tones and strange coloring is obviously reminiscent of Earth Pony blood, which unicorns dislike more than they'll admit. His coat isn't really appealing among any of the races, actually. His name was originally "Moldy Toast" but after getting made fun of for it, he begged for a change. But even with a changed name, he can't help but wish he looked different every time he glances in the mirror at his green streaks and sunken eyes.
