When there was an episode of where Rainbow Dash went to a Daring Doo Convention, Twilight Sparkle says *'I would've gone if I didn't have princess responsibilities already.'*
basically it was heart wrenching for me to think that Twilight was left at home basically to just let her friend go to a convention that she wanted to go as well but couldn't. So I decided that in between things to do with friendship quests and at the same time of the Daring Doo Convention, She'd just slip in and enjoy some time alone to herself, and books.
