The Crystal Ponies stared in awe, basking in their natural crystalline forms as Flurry Heart and Snuggle Bug looked around bewildered. Shining Armor stood to the side, taking in the what had happened, glancing to his wife as if expecting her to have an answer. Cadence remained silent, equally confused.
> A voice echoed across the crowd, the source unknown. "Rejoice! Rejoice! The Spirit of the Crystal Heart has made her choice! Gifted with love and light, so says the ethereal voice! Hooray to the chosen Princesses, rejoice, rejoice!" Cheers and bursts of magic filled the air of the Crystal Palace, changelings letting out buzzes and shrieks.
> The imperial princesses were swept up by their subjects, tossed and hugged, the current Emperor and Empress talking with the advisor and history buff, Sunburst. Flurry Heart muttered out thank yous amongst the various shouts of congratulations, looking to Snuggle Bug who seemed to be struggling with the attention. The pair spared a glance at each other's flanks, both gasping and gazes meeting. It was only for a moment before they were pulled away for further celebration.
