Star Swirl The Bearded has always been a major inspiration for Twilight since she was a filly, so when Celestia assigned for her to complete a unfinished spell that was in a old journal of his, she was beyond excited! Looking over the incantations after receiving the book, the last page bewildered her, by accident she casted a incomplete spell that Star Swirl didn’t finish. Not thinking much of it in the moment, Twilight went to sleep not knowing her tomorrow was the beginning of her transcendence ✨⁣

Spike gets his growth spurt a few years after, his molting was very painful but growth is painful. If it isn’t, you aren’t growing ✌️⁣
