This picture is my contribution to the Canterlot Wedding 10th Anniversary. It is also my first artwork released publicly. Unfortunately, this version is only a sketch because the finished artwork would not have been ready on time to meet the event's deadline.

The depicted scene is the starting point for a number of comic projects I have been working on for years. It takes place after seasons 9 and 10 in an alternative (yet "figuratively" canon-abiding) reality seen from the perspective of Queen Chrysalis and her hive.

There is a lot to criticize about my handling of digital painting in this sketch, but I'm working hard on improving.
