This was intended to be just a random picture, but I soon had the idea to make some story out of it.

It goes like this:
Starlight thought it would be a good idea to get her daughter (has no name yet) to start making friends in Canterlot. However her daughter dislikes the idea of having friends, because to her they aren't as important as the multitude of books she reads, so she isn't at all thrilled when being told to make friends instead of reading.

Also I'm considering making my Starlight x Hoo'Far ship a one night stand or they break up, since it wouldn't work out with Starlight's job as Headmare at the School of Friendship or Hoo'Far's travelling life. But when her kid is older she does choose to tell her of her father.
Starlight will either be a single mother or with someone else if I can find a good match.
