On December 12th, 5016u, Harrison Armory had officially begun a full scale invasion of Kirin Space. The Lunar Mandate had attempted to bring the Kirin Sector into the fold peacefully, but only managed to gain a dozen of so worlds to their side. The Kirin threatened war if the Lunar Mandate would intervene. The Lunar Mandate, with the approval of their Emperor Blue Moon, the Prime Minister Amber Aura, the Lunar Parliament, and with advisement from the Lunar Department of Defense, officially declared there intervention on December 31st, 5016u. The first fleets and regiments were to be sent into the Kirin Sector starting on January 25th, 5017u. On January 24th, 5017u, Prime Minister Amber Aura would give her address to the nation, and troops.
