Oh yeah, let's just ignore the innumerable scientific and engineering wonders that have come out of Germany, make no mistake; the Germans had every right to be angry after WWI. A country full of some of the most talented naturalists in the world, and they had to carry fucking suitcases full of their currency just to afford a loaf of bread. National pride is being proud of something that your people or your ancestors accomplished by hard work, dedication and devotion. Doesn't necessary has to mean war or racial discrimination. It could be inventions, politics, sports, arts, food or drinks, preservation of history, buildings and architecture…. Being proud of being queer is just saying out loud without shame or self restraint disregarding whether it upsets people around you or not that you want to have sex in a disturbing way and nothing more. No work or effort invested in anything that you could say that you dedicated yourself to.
