> Didn't mean to make yet another "G4 meets G5" drawing so soon after just posting one last week, but my client had the idea of Argyle, Sunny's father, exploring some of Equestria's past and wanted me to expand on the idea. And so here we are. For a bit of context, a younger Argyle is on an expedition team to find and explore the Castle of Friendship. While exploring he wanders off alone and discovers the room where the Guardians of Harmony once assembled, and the Cutiemap within it. To his utter astonishment, the map jumps to life after so many years of being inactive since the Tree of Harmony's destruction. There was a bit of magic left within it, and it takes the opportunity to show Argyle what his daughter and her friends will accomplish some time in the future.

> Argyle studied the history of the guardians and the map before hand, so he already knows how it works, he just wasn't expecting it to work in that moment. He never mentions his discovery to his daughter and instead allows her and the others to discover it for themselves in due time. In a way, he knew all along what would happen, thanks to the map.
