I discovered this cool world building explanation on this fanfiction [Welcome to Ponyville](https://www.fimfiction.net/story/87250/welcome-to-ponyville) by englishwitch about Pinkie's younger years when she just arrived at Ponyville. Seriously this fanfiction has great character writing and world building even if it is not complete and deviates from the established lore. But you should read this fic!
