Happy 12th anniversary to the premiere of the very first episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic!

Twelve years ago, the show premiered on the then-brand new Hub Network and audiences were opened to the first of many episodes across nine seasons that would soon followed. A large fandom had formed due to the show's popularity, creating tons of amazing content even to this day. Even though the series had ended a few years ago by now, the fandom is still alive and kicking with the arrival of a new generation and the energy of the fourth generation.

To celebrate the week of the twelfth anniversary, I created this little piece of art featuring my favorite pony of all time, Pinkie Pie, jumping on top of a cake she's made for her friends. I drew it all in the past couple of days, though it was posted a bit more later than I would have liked due to real-life obligations and my life in general getting busier than usual. Still, I hope you all love it and enjoy the twelfth anniversary of the show and the fandom!
