Shatter came to Paddy's place after Sirius came here, and things took an unexpected turn. Sirius was turned into a foal overnight and when Shatter saw him, she was surprised. She was very suspicious and when breakfast came, she got tricked into going into littlespace, the possible reason could've been the apple juice, who knows. But she ends up getting fed like a foal due to eating messily and then, she eagerly took to Paddy's breastmilk. All while Sirius was just shocked to see what was going on. This was his first time seeing a pony or anyone for that matter in a little headspace, he's never heard of it either.

Well, now he knew. Shatter never realized that the inner foal even existed within her. So this probably haunted her for days and she blames the food, thinking it was contaminated with some mind altering drug or so, it probably wasn't.
