-Her wheelchair use is due to a spinal injury acquired at birth compounded with diabetes that leaves her pretty weak compared to her peers.
-her special talent is make-up and while she is still young, she will one day grow up to be a MUA-type and make a living off make up brand deals
-Her wheelchair use is accommodated by way of ramps and other practical changes to ponyville's infrastructure, but society at large is less than kind to disabled ponies like herself. With help from Scootaloo and Tempest Shadow, Pink lady has started the Equestrian Disability League (EDL), and advocacy group for disabled ponies all over Equestria to get both legal and social accommodations for disabilities.
-Because she is trans, she chose her name. At first Apple Bloom and Twist thought she would change her name but it stuck.
