OK lemme explain.

Desert is an adopted OC, so for the longest time I've not really figured out what his CM of two feathers means.

Now that Tovii has come along and explained it, (who is making his first comic appearance here! He's Desert's eagle pet who's just vibing on his arm) it's just made me think about the unintended side effects of having that CM.

Desert's talent is rearing birds and generally having naturally good chemistry with them. But in the pone universe there are literally life sized avians that speak English and everything. So why wouldn't his mark work on them?

So a little quirk of Desert's is that Griffons mildly sort of like him and are interested in him, regardless of how long he's interacted with them.

Probably a dumb idea I know. :3

Desert is quite sociable and charming anyway, but you know sometimes you get those things that your quite good at, yet you hate doing? That applies to his social skills lol.

Anyway, thank you to everyone who let me borrow a Griffon OC! It was actually real fun colouring with sets of colours and shades I haven't used before. Drawing these guys was just generally great fun.

I thought Skraww (the bluest birb) was going to be the most trouble colouring with how dark his feathers are, but actually he wasn't too bad at all. Gwen (above Desert) and Amahte (furthest left) were the tricky ones, with all those shades of brown and gold it was a challenge to shade them. But regardless, I hope everyone looks good enough here, and I hope it doesn't seem like I've tried to ignore their established personalities. This was just something I needed some characters for.
