Description:

Edward and Elizabeth were enjoying their conversation while walking upstairs;

Elizabeth wanted to show the books she has, and while doing that, they were talking about their day.

Edward talked about his day and how his friends were;

Elizabeth hearing this, a question came to her mind.

"Edward, I wonder, how long have you known them?" said Elizabeth with a curious tone in her voice.

"Huh, who? Questioned Edward.

"Your friends." Elizabeth answered. "They seem nice."

Edward smiled and explained. "Oh, Henry and I have known each other for years now, we’ve known Griffin, Adam, and Matthew for a while, and we met Erik, Dracula and Thomas last month.

We all help each other in the house to fix it, buy new furniture and make the house look new again."

"When did you get the house?" asked Elizabeth.

Edward became a bit nervous, knowing he should not reveal his, Henry’s or their friends’ past. He also did not want to remember what he and Henry had experienced. Yet he had to explain how they got the house, so he told Elizabeth what he could say.

"It’s a long story; however, it was Dracula, Thomas and Erik that got the house from a real estate pony.

Me, Henry, Griffin, Adam and Matthew were living somewhere else.

I don’t want to talk about the past too much because Henry and I did not always have it easy before we met them.

Yet, I’m glad that they helped us when we needed them

and I’m grateful that Dracula, Erik, and Thomas took us in when we needed help; we all helped Matthew with his mother due to her needing somewhere to live.

Since then, we have gotten to know each other and become good friends.

I don’t know where we would be without them."

Elizabeth smiled, seeing how much Edward’s friends meant to him, thankful that Edward had such good friends. However, she knew that she should not dwell on the past, and knowing that Edward did not want to think about it, she went on to another question.

"I’m glad you all are doing well, but I want to ask, is it alright if I could meet your friends one day, Edward?" Elizabeth asked.

Edward replied, "Of course, you’re welcome to meet them."

"Thank you, Edward." said Elizabeth.

"Oh! We’re almost in my bedroom; come on in; let me see if I can find a book we can read together."

"On my way!" replied Edward.

Edward and Elizabeth went inside the room. Edward and Jekyll already knew they wanted to wait for the right time to tell her the truth.

Until then, Edward and Elizabeth spent time together and read a story about a mysterious spirit guiding a stallion on an epic adventure to become a hero.

Edward and Elizabeth loved the book and wanted to finish it the next time they met since it was closing time.

"I had a great time Elizabeth." said Edward. "I wonder what that spirit was?"

"I know." replied Elizabeth. "I’m glad you had a good time, I wonder what the spirit is too, but we’ll figure that out next time.

"Let’s hope we have time to finish it too. I want to know what happens next." said Edward with excitement

"I agree." said Elizabeth

"Maybe, next time I see you maybe; I can bring my friends so you can meet them?" asked Edward.

"I would love to meet them." replied, Elizabeth. "What do you think we should do?"

"Hmm, not sure I’ll see once I tell them; maybe they have an idea of what we should do." said Edward.

"All right, I’m sure we’ll all have a great time." Elizabeth replied.

Edward and Elizabeth said their goodbyes, and Edward went back home.

He and Henry were excited that their friends would meet Elizabeth. They both agreed that Elizabeth would meet Henry the next day. Things were starting to look up.
