The camera on her phone flashed as Rarity showed off her voluptuous figure, leaning heavily against Applejack’s own heftier build.
\
With a nervous smile on their face, the resort staff member quickly handed back her phone before turning away elsewhere. Choosing to ignore that bit of awkwardness, Rarity thanked them and began skimming through the photos. Though she found herself enamored by her own good looks, she also noticed a rather uncomfortable look on Applejack’s face.
\
She looked up to find her girlfriend taking a drink, looking like she had a lot on her mind. “My darling, you really need to lighten up,” Rarity said as she tucked her phone away into her breasts. “Would you really prefer being snowed in an old dusty cabin in the middle of the mountains?”
\
“Actually, I would,” Applejack smirked back. “Especially if it was just the two of us and not surrounded by a bunch of rich uppercrust folk.”
\
But Rarity just rolled her eyes in response. “Well, we can cuddle up next to a fireplace when we get back. Until then, the whole point of a vacation is to go out and do things that you can't do at home.”
\
“Then, why are we spendin’ most of our time here shoppin’?”
\
“Sightseeing, dear,” Rarity remarked, trying not to sound impatient. “Look, all I’m asking of you is to please enjoy this Christmas with me at this beautiful beach resort. I promise we’ll vacation to the mountains this coming summer,” she added before giving a quick peck on her girlfriend’s fat freckled face.
\
Applejack sighed before turning towards Rarity. “I’ll hold you to that,” she said as she kissed her back on her soft chubby cheek. “I will say this much, the beach ain’t all that bad,” she admitted as she took another swig. “The ocean view’s beautiful, the local shops are nice, and I’m really lovin’ the seafood here. Just wish the portions weren’t so small.”
\
“Ugh, I know. You’d think they’d expect a couple of whales around here,” Rarity said cheekily before grabbing the drink out of Applejack’s hand. “How are the drinks here, by the way?”
\
“Pretty dang tasty. That’s my third sangria you’re drinkin’ there,” Applejack added as she watched Rarity take a sip before choking it back.
\
“Hmm! It has quite a bite,” Rarity coughed. “Perhaps you should ease off a bit with those drinks?”
\
But Applejack just laughed heartily. “Nah, this ain’t nothing! Just wait til you try the cider I’m bringing to Cadance’s and Shining’s wedding.”
\
“Oh? How much stronger can that be?”
