It's been awhile since I've drawn these two and I had to update their references for a commission, so I figured now was the time to get it done!

Cloudjumper (who belongs to macsauce32 ) is a stocky and tall Draft horse who somehow manages to have wings big enough to fly with such a sturdy frame. He is a farmer by trade and lives with his grandparents, Buck Wheat and Honey Comb, on the edge of Ponyville. Cloud excels at anything physical and is a regular buckball player whenever he's not working. While many people may see the stallion's hairstyle as feminine, the truth is that Cloud couldn't care less about keeping his hair short.

Thunder Storm (who belongs to moi) is a pudgy and short pegasus mare who has lost her left wing in a rogue lightning storm. Until she became unable to fly, Storm was a weather pony. Weather wasn't exactly her passion, but she enjoyed flying and helping out to pass the time and make a few bits on the side. She is by no means close to her family and lives in a one bedroom cottage near the center of Ponyville. Unlike Cloudjumper, Storm doesn't really "do" sports and instead enjoys spending her time relaxing in ponds and lakes like a bird in a birdbath.

Thunder Storm and Cloudjumper knew each other from going to the same primary school, but met again about a year or so after the mare lost her wing when Cloud's friend nearly kicked a hoofball right into Storm while she relaxed in a calm river nearby. The stallion quickly apologized and the two became friends fairly quickly. Soon, the relationship took a romantic turn and in hopes of making Storm feel whole again, spent all his savings on a custom prosthetic wing so she could fly with him. While he couldn't afford something that matched her other wing, he managed to purchase a simple but effective prosthetic that was in the style of a batpony wing. Cloudjumper was with her from every step, from fittings to her first flying lessons with the prosthetic.

I'm not gonna give away the whole story of these two because I would be typing all day XD

These were the first MLP characters that Mac and I designed and created a story for and we are extremely attached to these two because more or less, this is the story of how we fell in love~

Before we could match as face to the name, Mac and I played MMORPGs and became fast friends. We knew each other for 5 years online before we actually met in person! When we did end up meeting, Mac drove 5 hours to get to meet me and it turns out we both had huge crushes on each other. We were super nervous and awkward around each other until we showed each other our sketchbooks (since we both made tons of fanart of our stories) and in that moment it clicked in our heads, like "oh right, this is the person I've known for so long". After that, there was no more awkwardness.

The story of these two is actually really close to reality. I was someone who was never close to my family and felt like I had lost a part of myself that I really needed (thanks to depression, anxiety, and trauma). The moment I met Mac, my life started to brighten up and she gave me what I needed to succeed again. Without her, I wouldn't be anywhere near I was. If I'm being totally honest, I wouldn't have been here at all.
