I bet youngster Alphabittle did some pretty crazy things to win. =D

I imagine him as a guy who really enjoys pushing his own boundries and limitations to get better in all different things and activities.
After all, success is not a skill or a thing to born with, but it’s rather earned through many-many failures. In Alpha’s case —knowing he’s so skilled at many games— it means he has probably failed a lot in the past and/or he did a lot of stupid things before he eventually became a successful gamer pony. Beside that, his love and passion towards games and his competitive spirit sure had helped him to not not give up.
And this scenario is one of them.

Every single unicorn in Bridlewood thought he was crazy when once he actually ate no less than 42 mulberry pies in a local pie-eating contest. Even he himself thought he was crazy, especially after he indeed got really sick right after that. It was so bad that since then he becames nauseous even at the mere thought of a mulberry pie even though back then it used to be one of his favorite desserts.

But in spite all of that, he thought and still thinks, it was totally worth it. Especially considering that nopony broke his record since then. In fact they haven’t even got close to it. And it makes him extra proud of himself. =D

His mom, Mallow Mist, on the other hand—even though loving his son dearly— really disapproves the reckless nature of him, and everything related to gambling, betting, crazy contests and all such things.😅 In fact she constantly worries about Alphabittle and what hare-brained scheme he might come up next time…

She tends to have a sharp tongue, in a tough-love kinda way, her love’s usually expressed through her actions. So she might give Alpha a mouthful for his rashness, but she’ll also help to take care of him, even mixing a special herb-tea blend for his aching stomach.
