Pegasi lay eggs and hatch from them too. Pegasi mares are hens, pegasi stallions are roosters, and pegasi/half-pegasi foals crack out of the shell with an eggtooth. Non-pegasi born from pegasi mothers too hatch from eggs. All can chirp and squawk. I commit to this idea in full.
