Elizabeth, Edward, and the others set up the picnic blanket and removed the food. Food items include mince pies, molasses cookies, fruit, cheese and salad sandwiches, mini cakes, wine, and lemonade.
All with wooden utensils and plates. Everyone enjoyed the food, and it was a lovely setting, but Dracula could not help but feel left out even though he did not need it.
While conversing, they all listened to music in the park. As the fireworks broke out as the main event, everyone turned to watch! It was stunning how far and how colorful they soared.
Elizabeth was having an enjoyable time, and Edward was happy to see that, even though his joy eventually turned to worry.
“I am not sure how I would express my feelings to Elizabeth. What happens if she does not feel the same way? What if she gets upset?” Edward pondered.
“Do not worry, Edward.” Jekyll answered. “Elizabeth is a remarkable mare; she will not be like that other one; she loved your gift, didn't she?” Inquired Jekyll.
“She did indeed.” Edward smiled at the memory as he reflected. He then considered how happy they were and the times they spent together.
That gave him more confidence. “There may be a chance.” “Okay, I will express how I feel.” Edward thought. “But how will I go about it?” He questioned.
He soon had an idea and hoped it would work.
Elizabeth was thinking the same thing.
“Edward is so sweet for doing this; he made me feel like I am more than what I am now; he is fun to be around; I have not felt like my old self in a long time, being outside, not thinking about work, and doing activities like this; I am so glad I'm experiencing this again.”
“Even though I am a prostitute, I hope he feels the same as I do about him.” Elizabeth then noticed Edward looking up at the fireworks. She smiled and turned away, and a sense of optimism filled her with hope.
“Hopefully, I will be able to express my feelings to him.”
The ponies continued to see the show until it was time to leave; they all said happy new year when twelve hit and soon left the park.
Edward and his friends were at the door saying their farewells.
"I had an excellent time tonight," said Elizabeth. “Me too.” Said Edward.
“It was the most enjoyable night I had, the park, the food, and the fireworks. It was fun.” Elizabeth said.
“I am glad you had a wonderful time.” Said Edward.
“I will see you soon; goodnight, Edward.” said Elizabeth as she walked away with a shy look in her eyes.
“Good night, Elizabeth.” Edward said in a soft voice.
Later back home Hyde was on one of the newly acquired couches reading the book Elizabeth gave him. He could not focus on the story because he was thinking about how to plan out his idea.
Adam saw that Edward was sitting down looking at the floor and walked over to ask.
“Edward, what is wrong?”
“Huh, what?” Edward said as he lifted his head suddenly. “Oh, Adam, I am sorry I was just deep in thought.”
“What were you thinking about?”
Edward looked away, nervous about telling Adam, but he had to, so he told him after he sighed.
“Adam, I do not know what to plan for Elizabeth. I want to take her on a special night out. But I do not know where to start.”
“Why?” ask Adam. “Why do you want to take her out to town?”
Edward blushed. “Well because of my feelings towards her.”
“Huh, do you mean.”
Edward nodded his head. “Yes, Adam, I want to have a chance to tell her that I love her.”
Adam was surprised and happy to hear this.
“Aw, Edward, that is so sweet, but why are you so nervous?”
“I am afraid she might reject me. However, after all the times I have been with her, and how much fun we had, I am sure everything will be okay.”
Adam put his arm over Edward's shoulder to reassure him.
“Everything will be all right. Elizabeth will love to hear that you love her.”
Edward smiled.
“Thank you, Adam.”
“You're welcome, Edward.”
Edward and Adam then walked upstairs with everyone else to help set up the newly acquired furniture then they all headed to bed for the night.
On Friday Edward visited Elizabeth. They talked for a bit but soon Edward asked Elizabeth if she would like to take her out for dinner or see a show.
Elizabeth loved the sound of that, and they both planned when and where to go.
They decided to depart on Sunday night, they continued their time together that day and Saturday. However, when Sunday came, they both put on their winter clothes and met at the pub.
After that they were ready to leave.
They first treated themselves to dinner at a restaurant in town. It was a modest-looking restaurant but there were a lot of other ponies there so the food must have been delicious.
They talked to the host, and they sat down. “And what would you like to order?” Said the waiter.
Edward and Elizabeth talked about what to order, then they decided to tell the waiter what they want.
“I would like a small soup, a slice of mince pie, and a trifle for dessert.” Said Elizabeth.
“Very well ma'am.” replied the waiter. “And you, sir?”
“I would like savory pudding, stuffed tomatoes, and a slice of small almond cake.” Said Edward.
“Very well sir, I will be on my way, your food will be here soon.”
“Thank you.” Elizabeth and Edward both replied.
“Wow, this food sounds Good.” said Edward.
“I agree, this is such an enjoyable restaurant and I love the fact that we get to eat outdoors too. It is such a lovely night.” said Elizabeth.
“Me too, the stars are out, and I like the atmosphere here with the warm colored lights around us.” said Edward.
“I know, it is beautiful.” Elizabeth replied.
Elizabeth and Edward continued to talk until the food came.
The food looked delicious. The savory pudding for example was tasty and golden brown and the trifle It was small enough for one pony and filled with fruit, cream, and nuts.
They both ate their food until it was all done. They could not eat another bite. Following dinner, they went on to their next destination.
They walked to the theatre. It was a small theatre, but it had enough space for a stage and places for actors to practice.
Tonight, they were showing a comedy.
Edward and Elizabeth thought it could be fun and bought tickets and watched the show.
As they watched the show they saw jokes, slapstick, and an epic adventure.
They laughed at the jokes and paid close attention to the story being played out. The audience gave a round of applause after the show ended .
Edward and Elizabeth came out with smiles on their faces. They laughed after recalling the events of the play. After that they headed to the park and sat in front of a tree on top of a small hill.
“I had such an enjoyable time today.” Elizabeth said to Edward.
“I am happy you did Elizabeth, I wanted to make it special for you because.” Edward paused as he rubbed His hoof over his head and then put it down.
“Well, I wanted to say what I have been feeling.” Said Edward.
“Oh, what have you been feeling?” Said Elizabeth.
“Well, I wanted to say, ever since we met, you made me feel happy, you made me feel something inside that I wanted to let out I love our time together, and even when I felt doubt about these feelings and I feel I should just keep it inside, yet remembering our time together made me feel confident that there was nothing to fear and I just want to express that.” Edward paused for a second then he finally said it.
“I love you, Elizabeth.”
Elizabeth was surprised, then she smiled. “Oh, Edward, I have been feeling the same way about you.” Said Elizabeth happily.
“You did, Elizabeth?” Edward questioned.
“Yes, you made me so happy. You made me feel like I am more than what I am now, I have not felt this way in a long time, thank you so much, Edward, I love you too.”
Edward and Elizabeth got closer to each other and hugged. They looked at each other and they shared a kiss.
Elizabeth felt happiness within her now that she knew she had found somebody. She had no doubt about her ability to find love because her perfection had slipped away. She saw a bright future ahead of her.
Edward was overcome with joy. He had found someone who did not reject him. He had memories of him and Henry meeting their friend Elizabeth. It felt like he was in paradise at this moment, grateful for the life he has now.
They broke the kiss and hugged again then enjoyed the night watching the stars and having short conversations until it was time to head home.
Edward and Elizabeth said their goodbyes and kissed again, and both walked back home.
As Edward walked, he felt like he was lighter in the air, the world seemed brighter, and a big smile was on his face.
Henry was so happy for Edward and was thankful that Elizabeth was in his life.
When Edward got home, he told what had happened, some of his friends that were downstairs at the time.
As soon as they heard he was doing well, they were happy for him and congratulated him, and the others upstairs were happy as well.
It was about time to go to bed. After Edward put on his sleepwear, he felt relaxed and drifted to sleep.
This was the happiest night he ever had. —————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— finally, Edward and Elizabeth have their first kiss.
well not much to say, the story says for itself, but i wish i find a better way to word thing but i hope is fine.
i'm tempted to make the story a comic now, but i don't want to over work myself so next time i do a story i'll only do part of a story as a comic if it requires it and the other part single picture if it needs it, I'll figure it out.
this is the best-looking Edward and Elizabeth I've done so far as well i hope to do this method more often.
