The eldest of Harmony's three children, Queen Celestia is the Centaur of the Sun and ruler of Solaria. In addition to her role as steward the Sun, Queen Celestia also holds domain over the physical aspects of the world, including agriculture, the elements (earth, air, fire, water, metal, wood), crafts, and is holder of the power of "Body" from the aspect trinity (Body, Mind, Spirit).

After her exile to southern Impraecordia after the Splintering, Queen Celestia founded the nation of Solaria and the city of Heliopolis. Despite her rule, Queen Celestia has little involvement in the day-to-day affairs of her people, instead relying on her phoenix-born to manage her nation.

Note: the figure at Queen Celestia's hoof is her seneschal [Raven Inkwell](/images/2769577), who is roughly the size of a human.
