Phasesaw sword looks like unusual starwars lightsaber but have a completely different principle of operation, based on magnetic fields and the flow of charged particles that are released by the phases and have a chainsaw effect.
Such high charged particles are able to break atomic structure, which is the only way to damage the heavy carbiat (kind of ultra tech armor).
