My OC Melody Heartsong who has a major role to play in "Oh, Mother, Where Art Thou?" which I am currently working on and nearly done with.

Melody is a musician who has had a rough past of impoverishment but is getting back on her feet and living her dream to become a singer. Although she isn't very famous and making millions, she is perfectly content with the life she now lives and is good friends with Rara. She once had a daughter named Half Note who she wrote the song "Always Love You" for as a bed-time lullaby when she was a baby. Half Note is no longer with her, but they will be reunited again soon.

I noticed the other day how Melody shares some similarities with a G1 character with the same name. Her daughter's name Half Note is inspired by and resembles "Baby Half Note" from the G1 show (not to be confused with Half Note from the MLP Tales show, that one looks like Sunny Starscout).
