> Sorry for the delay; I wanted to have this finished a few days ago, but things didn't turn out that way. I ended up rushing to complete it as I wanted to get it out before Christmas, as it's the 24th as I'm posting this. I've wanted to do a proper holiday picture for a long time, and I got this idea in my head back in November. But I didn't actually start it until the middle of December. I had gotten into a cow mood and wanted to start drawing Southern Comfort more, and I plan to get out an updated ref sheet for her soon.

> But as for the picture, it seems Southern had no idea someone had spiked her eggnog when she wasn't looking! Christmas Day is gonna be rough for her!

> I was okay with how the drawing turned out, though there were several things in the actual drawing that I forgot about. I forgot that Southern had different-looking hooves from the average pony, as well as her collection of freckles between her eyes, as well as the markings on her belly. I had to actuall draw all of those in in the digital stage in SAI, and I think I succeeded in making the picture look better.
> I had a ton of issues with the posing of Southern's arms, which you most likely have already figured out after my angry status from a few weeks ago. I was somehow able to fix it, simply by accident. I'm not complaining though.

> And finally… shading! I was finally able to figure out a good method of shading thanks to a very helpful deviantART comment someone left me, and I'm so happy it actually worked. It's tough to keep the shading smooth and not jagged, but I'll get the hang of it. Now I just need some help with what makes good shading! If anyone has any tips or anything for me, just leave them in the comments.
