Heya everybody! Here is Firelock, and some backstory 'n' stuff for ya'll.

"I protect ponies. That's what a guard is meant to do, right?"

Name — Firelock

Gender — Female/Mare

Species — Unicorn

Bio — Firelock was born in Canterlot, where her mother and father lived. Her mother was a doctor, and her father was a leading member of the guard known as 'Vigil.' She was trained from an early age to be a guard, and soon learnt her special talent: Pyromancy. She continued training in that particular discipline of magic. When she was nine, her mother decided that she didn't want to live in Canterlot anymore as it didn't seem to her like the type of place to raise a filly. She and Vigil moved to Ponyville, though Vigil wasn't able to stay around very much as work with the guard often kept him away. Here she met Alula and Bee Bop, a shy yellow filly and an energetic blue pegasus respectively. Now, ten years later, she is still friends with these two, and is doing the last few years of her training as a full-fledged guard in Ponyville. One would think that this would be an easy posting, but with all the crazy stuff which happens around here, things really couldn't be any more interesting.

Personality — Firelock is a very passionate pony who loves to make others laugh. She thoroughly enjoys her life, is very energetic and quick to crack a joke. She can sometimes come across as a little boisterous, but some find that an endearing trait. Firelock can be considerably emotional, and has a short temper which she has difficulty keeping in check, when her anger is lit it will burn as strongly as any one of her spells. Despite this, she can be incredibly sensitive and empathetic, though this side of her is rarely shown to ponies she doesen't know very well. She is very determined, and absoloutely focused on always trying to do what she thinks is the right thing — no matter what. Firelock is slowly becoming disalusioned with the guard since they never seem to actually stop any of the evil which happens around the world. She loves her mother, but has some difficulty with her father who was never really there for her as a foal.

Likes — Jokes, stories, laughing, her friends, fire, protecting ponies, modern music, the night, drinking (Alcohol, her favourites are 'Wild Pegasus Whiskey' and good 'ol 'Cider.')

Dislikes — Really serious people, cruel/hateful people, seeing others hurt, standing still, rain, pears, spiders, lazy people, criminals.

Notable accessories/clothing/whatever — A charcoal set of guard armour with a golden flame on it's chest: the signature armour of the Royal Pyromancers.

NOTE: Bio-wise this is not the same firelock as the one in 'Perception.' For all intents and purposes, this is an laternate universe Firelock.
