Yeah, I actually had a good amount of fun with creative things. Philomena flying by to foreshadow the rescue, her surroundings fading out as she loses consciousness. Also note that as she dies, the leaves blow off the fading tree, but when she's rescued, they're back on it, and lively and green, as opposed to the dry, brown they were before.

And injuries on Celestia show that she didn't just try to kill them. At first she just tried to arrest them, but they resisted, so she fought. It was over quickly.
