Description:

Story — Pie Sisters and the Denver Botanic Gardens

Summary: Limestone, Maud and Marble Pie visit the Denver Botanic Gardens, where Maud once again studies on flowers with the help from Marble, while Limestone gets jealous (as usual) that they are focusing on a topic aside from rocks.

Limestone, Maud and Marble Pie have arrived in Denver, Colorado visiting the Denver Botanic Gardens. Both Limestone and Maud Pie are seen with normal expressions, as in, not smiling, while Marble Pie is seen smiling as they saw flowers.

"Looks like we gotta study and discover flowers once again." Maud Pie said, recalling the last time she and Marble Pie discovered flowers.

"Ugh, just when I thought we could focus on rocks…" Limestone Pie complained, becoming jealous just like usual whenever she is not focusing on the topic involving rocks, which was really something that annoys her.

Although not feeling upset as Limestone Pie is, Maud Pie comforted her, saying, "I know how you feel, but there's other things in nature we can discover besides rocks. That's important."

"But, we should be focusing on rocks, not flowers!" Limestone Pie argued, suggesting they leave the gardens and find somewhere in Denver that involves rocks. "We don't have flowers on the rock farm, just rocks. We have been working hard over these years, hoping we achieve success and so do our parents!"

"I know, Limestone. I understand." Maud Pie replied, not feeling offended from her older sister's words.

"The only nature that the Pie Family knows are rocks." Limestone Pie protested, still ignoring her sister's opinions. "I'm happy when I'm doing research on rocks, not flowers. I'm basically very allergic to them."

Maud Pie, still with the normal expression on her face, wishes that Limestone Pie would stop complaining about everything that has nothing to do with rocks, and just deal with it.

"You can't say you are allergic towards flowers unless you actually smell them." Maud Pie told Limestone Pie, as she actually wants her smelling the flowers and not ignoring them.

"Mm-hmm." Marble Pie responded, agreeing with Maud Pie's advice.

Limestone Pie let out a sigh, and finally admits that she would stick on the current situation dealing with flowers.

Later, the three Pie Sisters are around a path involving tulips, most are likely red, although some are yellow and another color that looks lavender.

"These flowers are called tulips." Maud Pie told her fellow Pie Sisters, showing them the flowers that often gets so much water during the spring and also the summer. "Tulips are something that remind you for a rose. They feel similar, but there's a difference between the two flowers.

Maud Pie walked forward, smelling some tulips that are red. When she smells them, they smell very fresh, and her nose could feel the light from her kicking in.

"The flowers smell so beautiful." Maud Pie said in her usual deep voice, as the flowers didn't seem all that bad in her opinions. "Would you wanna try smelling some, Limestone?" She asked Limestone Pie, wondering if she would be interested in smelling the tulips, too.

"Please, no." Limestone Pie denied, letting her jealousy side coming out again, as she said before that flowers make her allergic. "I'd rather not get sick from those tulips."

"Come on, you haven't tried them yet." Maud Pie told Limestone Pie, as she wanted to avoid smelling the tulips for as long as possible. "You can't say you hate flowers unless you smell them at least one time."

Limestone Pie changed her mind, and tried smelling a tulip on her own. When she started smelling one, she looked kinda nervous about how she feels with flowers.

"They… actually seem alright with me." Limestone Pie told Marble and Maud Pie, as she believes she is alright, but a few seconds, allergies inside her kicked in, resulting in her sneezing twice.

Limestone Pie walked away, looking upset about smelling a flower that was so cute. "I am never smelling another flower in my life again." She said, as flowers are really not her interest.

"Hey, hold on a sec." Maud Pie said, trying to get Limestone Pie back to the garden.

"No way!" Limestone Pie yelled, still walking away from her two sisters in frustration over smelling a single tulip.

"Looks like we better called it a day and just get moving, Marble." Maud Pie told Marble Pie, as they really didn't had any choice but catch up with Limestone Pie. "But I'm sure you like flowers, don't you?"

"Mm-hmm." Marble Pie responded before she and Maud Pie commenced their walk and catch up with Limestone Pie.
