For what I can tell the main selling point of this site is that there are no discriminations against any pic whether it's lolis, nazis, or whatever this shit is. I don't think there is any exceptional catering toward ai autists beyond the premise that anything goes. One could just say that your kink is distasteful too and should be banned as well. I rather just hide things I don't like and keep the site available for every pic than to spiral down into a privileged users dominated mess like derpibooru where a mafia of pandered oldfags gets say what can and can't be posted.

There is definitely a reason to archive from different aspects. You can find humor in failed attempts, see the progress of the efforts over the years, and otherwise see a side of art that is bizarre, even if it is ugly. If we were to make a stance on this, we would need to take a stance on ugly human artists, because why keep those when they are an eyesore? Some of them do eventually get better while others attempt to monetize their horrible work. All the same, they are stored on a site that is archival focused.

Porting ought to capture as many images as possible, otherwise the art or artists that an individual porter does not like will keep art out of the archive. We already had a problem with this as a porter edited out a G5 character in an artist collaboration and only uploaded that to this site, passing it as the completed project. This is a major problem in not simply taking anything and everything and leaving the users to add and block tags at will, which solves having to see ugly art.

Agreed. The porting is very manual and I think porters should focus on the pretty stuff(even good AI pics)

I think we as a site need to have a real discussion about the validity of archiving this nonsensical AI mesh. There is no human effort here. Even the shittiest circle took inflation art has effort compared to this..

Is this really something we should save?
