- Rather rash and jumps headfirst into things, aka acts before thinking (in some situations)
- Tries very hard to be perfect, always worrying what people think of her

Rose Gold was a magical miracle. Her parents weren't supposed to be able to procreate, at least it didn't seem possible, but then little Rosie came along and turned that theory on its head.

Rose was heavily spoiled by her parents and auntie Twilight, who found the small Kirin extremely interesting — after all, this specie hadn't been heard or seen, and only mentioned in legends!
Therefor Rose Gold always felt very special, and when she was younger she had an unhealthy obsession about being better than everypony else.

She became more modest as she got older, but her parents still spoiled her rotten, and it sometimes shows in her personality.
Rose is a very rash individual, and can sometimes be quite tomboyish, much to her mothers dismay as she sometimes came home covered in dirt and mud from digging for gemstones or roughhousing with the other foals.
She's also very strong physically, can spew fire and use magic like a unicorn, though it's not very powerful.

- Rose Gold tries to be a perfect little lady for her mother, running a small jewellery-crafting section in Rarity's boutique, but deep inside she's more adventurous and longs to see the world.

- She was never good at magic, and mostly uses it to locate and dig out gemstones — and occasionally change into her unicorn form.

- Sometimes has difficulties making friends, and can be a little awkward.
